Art Diversia is a non-profit Cooperative Society based in Andalusia (Spain) dedicated to the creation, promotion and dissemination of outsider art and other unconventional cultural expressions, driven by diversity, social inclusion, and the active participation of groups in situations of vulnerability or exclusion. Our mission is to create spaces where art serves as a vehicle for expression, empowerment, and social transformation.
Our two main areas of work are education and cultural management. Among our core activities are the organization of exhibitions, art workshops, creative residencies, seminars, international gatherings, and community projects. We work with outsider artists, people with disabilities, migrants, LGTBIQ+ individuals, the elderly, women’s associations, and young people at risk of exclusion—supporting their artistic development, facilitating their access to cultural circuits, and focusing particularly on rural areas, where there are fewer resources and services.
One of our key objectives is to give visibility and value to art created from social or psychological margins, breaking stigmas and expanding the boundaries of the artistic canon. We encourage dialogue between outsider practices and other artistic languages, and promote collaborative networks at local, national, and international levels.
Our core values are diversity, equity, respect for each individual’s creative uniqueness, and a commitment to social justice. We strongly believe in an art that is not governed by market rules, but by its ability to communicate, provoke and above all, give visibility to people. In this sense, we align with the philosophy of outsider art as a free, authentic and deeply human field.
We aspire to contribute actively to the European outsider art ecosystem by sharing experiences, knowledge, and good practices, and by strengthening the visibility and legitimacy of artists who, through their own narratives, enrich the contemporary cultural landscape.
